See SPIRITBOX’s COURTNEY LAPLANTE join ILLENIUM for “Shivering” at the Sphere

Spiritbox vocalist Courtney LaPlante gave thousands of EDM fans goosebumps over the weekend, after the djent-pop dynamo joined ILLENIUM at the first show of his residency at Las Vegas, Nevada’s Sphere to perform their 2022 collaborative single, “Shivering.”

Friday night’s show (March 6th) marked the second of nine performances ILLENIUM is staging at the immersive Sphere this year, and his dance-geared night got extra heavy by the time LaPlante emerged to help howl through the cross-genre club groove. Standing side by side, ILLENIUM dropped the beat as LaPlante howled of frozen memories and cold, cold hearts.

This was contrasted by the Sphere’s massive wraparound interior LED screen, which projected bursts of flame, mechanized giants swatting at the crowd and a handful of angels flapping around the screen.

You’ll find footage from the high-impact on-stage EDM collab down below.

ILLENIUM’s set also featured his recent “Slave To The Rithm” single with Bring Me the Horizon’s Oli Sykes, who wasn’t on-hand to sing the track at the Sphere…at least not yet. His “Odyssey” residency at the Sphere picks up again this weekend (March 12th-14th), and runs again April 2nd-4th.

In related news, Metallica’s initially October-planned residency at the Sphere has expanded into 2026. You’ll find their additional dates at the Sin City venue over here.
