Spiritbox have been in serious on-stage collab mode lately. Following up vocalist Courtney LaPlante’s recent duets with Poppy and Jinjer’s Tatiana Shmayluk at the Louder Than Life festival, the band headed into their performance at Korn’s 30th anniversary show in L.A. over the weekend with yet another stunning singer: Chelsea Wolfe. Together, they hit Spiritbox’s heavy “Jaded.”
The collab had been a long time coming, with Wolfe having previously shouted out Spiritbox’s Fear of Fear standout “Cellar Door” as one of her favorite songs of 2023. Then, back in April, the gothic artist delivered a chilling acoustic makeover of the track while recording a BBC Radio session at London’s Maida Vale studio.
While Spiritbox kicked off their set at Los Angeles, California’s BMO Stadium on Saturday (October 5th) with “Cellar Door,” that’s actually not the song they tag-teamed with Wolfe. Instead, Wolfe hit another of the band’s dynamic Fear of Fear singles, “Jaded.”
You’ll find the two vocalists linking up for an inkily melodic chorus via the fan-shot footage up above. It could be noted that pro-shot concert footage surfaced around Spiritbox’s recent Poppy and Jinjer duets, but it’s unclear if this duet between LaPlante and Wolfe will receive similar treatment.
Spiritbox’s ongoing tour with Korn and Gojira continues tomorrow (October 8th) at Portland, Oregon’s MODA Center, and runs to the end of the month. You’ll find the details on the remaining dates over here.
