Rap, pop and most-recently country mega-star Post Malone paid tribute to the Prince of Darkness at the Grammy Awards this weekend, performing the Black Sabbath’s classic “War Pigs” alongside Guns N’ Roses members Slash and Duff McKagan during the ceremony at Los Angeles, California’s Crypto.com Arena.
The power-packed salute also featured Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith and guitarist-producer Andrew Watt. Together, they mounted a metal-as-hell version of the iconic anti-war anthem. Watch below.
As previously reported, Post Malone first connected with Ozzy on their collaborative “Take What You Want” single in 2019, which was later added to Osbourne’s 2020 album, Ordinary Man, produced by Watt. That record likewise featured another Ozzy-Post collab, the raucous and punky standout “It’s a Raid,” while McKagan, Smith and Slash all contributed performances elsewhere on the LP.
