Megadeth finally invaded fans’ minds with the first-ever live performance of “Tipping Point,” the debut single from the iconic thrashers’ forthcoming final LP.
The in-concert premiere took place a few songs into Megadeth’s headlining performance last night (October 14th) at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Guitarist-vocalist Dave Mustaine teed off the tune by confirming with the crowd that this would be the first time they brought the single to the stage, then he and guitarist Teemu Mäntysaari locked into the chunked-and-squealed intro riff.
You can see how Mustaine snarled through the confrontationally grooved and thrashed new single (“Push me, I push you back”) via fan-shot footage from the show.
The night also included all-timer Megadeth tunes like “Hangar 18,” “Tornado of Souls,” “Peace Sells” and “Symphony of Destruction.” You’ll find the full setlist below.

As previously reported, Megadeth will be issuing their self-titled farewell LP January 23rd via BLKIIBLK. Global tour dates to support the release will be detailed sometime soon.
