While Linkin Park are technically taking a breather from their current and massive world tour, the ever-busy band took the stage at this weekend’s 2025 UEFA Champions League Final Kick Off Show to hit a nu-rock medley for soccer fans.
The four-song medley was staged on Saturday (May 31) at Munich, Germany’s Allianz Arena, ahead of a match between Paris Saint-German and FC Internazionale Milano. Mike Shinoda and Emily Armstrong started the set off singing FROM ZERO’s “The Emptiness Machine” surrounded by a bunch of masked and athleisure-cloaked dancers, but soon climbed to the stage to hit the pop-punk-y tune with the rest of the band.
They also hit classic tracks “In the End” and “Numb” before closing things out with a drumline-styled and heavily choreographed version of “Heavy is the Crown,” the latter seeming like quite an appropriate song choice, given the nature of the football tournament.

Linkin Park’s world tour resumes June 12th at the Novarock Festival in Nickelsdorf, Austria. They’ll keep running through Europe until the North American leg of dates kicks off Jul 29th at Brooklyn, New York’s Barclays Center.
