As part of their ongoing tour, Korn rolled into L.A. over the weekend to perform a mega-sized 30th anniversary show alongside a bunch of their friends. This included longtime pal and collaborator Amy Lee, who not only took the stage with Evanescence, but also helped out during Korn’s set for a run-through of “Freak on a Leash.”
The one-night-only event took place on Saturday (October 5th) at Los Angeles, California’s BMO Stadium, with Korn’s headlining set preceded by opening spots from Evanescence, Gojira, Scars on Broadway, Spiritbox and Vended.
With Korn’s set, the nu-metal godfathers dipped into a heavy highlight reel of favorites pulled from all eras, from their 1994 self-titled debut’s iconic opening “Blind” up to “Start the Healing” from 2022’s Requiem. The night also included big-timers like “A.D.I.D.A.S.,” “Shoots and Ladders,” “Here to Stay” and more.
For the last song of the encore, Korn brought Lee back out onstage to once again duet Follow the Leader classic “Freak on a Leash” with Jonathan Davis, a feat they’ve accomplished in concert a few times over the years, including a 2007 MTV Unplugged appearance/album.
You’ll find fan-shot footage of their latest onstage collab up above and down below, where you’ll likewise find Korn’s full setlist from BMO Stadium (via Setlist.fm).
Korn’s 30th anniversary tour with Gojira and Spiritbox continues tomorrow (October 8th) at Portland, Oregon’s MODA Center, and runs to the end of the month. You’ll find the details on the remaining dates over here.
