Just in time for Valentine’s, Ghost have delivered a new music video for the lovers. This time around, the occult-rock outfit have unleashed a lustful short film to support SKELETÁ’s sensually cowbell-clanking “Umbra.”
Directed by Amir Chamdin, Ghost’s latest video thrusts us right into the carnal contortions of two clergy members caught up in each other’s magic — the pair biting and pawing each other as they make their way through the gothic Ghost compound, occasionally pausing to neck in stairwells.
An ember-red passion shines through, despite being the pair living “in the shadow of the Nazarene.” Later, they undertake a flames-lit interpretive dance-off during the song’s guitar-and-organ battle.
There’s performance footage in here, too, with the vid finding Ghost shredding through the cut on stage, sometimes grabbing each other’s thighs between guitar bends. Papa V Perpetua passionately croons his parts from the shadows.

As previously reported, Ghost are currently undertaking a leg of North American SKELETÁ tour dates. Their official Valentine’s show takes place tomorrow (February 14th) at Vancouver, BC’s Rogers Arena.
