See FLESHWATER’s nostalgic music video for new song “Standalone”

Fleshwater — the nu-gaze outfit featuring Vein.fm’s Anthony DiDio, Jeremy Martin, and Matt Wood, plus MIRSY’s Marisa Shirar — bid farewell to 2024 with a surprise new standalone single fittingly titled “Standalone.”

This gauzy cut debuted on digital streaming platforms this past Friday, paired with a live version of “What the F#%! Was Said.” Today (December 30th), the band offered up the single’s accompanying music video, which adds over three minutes of exposition to the song’s 1:08 runtime.

Watch and listen above.

Fleshwater have quickly become a favorite of the Deftones, having opened the alt-metal leaders’ intimate, Lollapalooza warm-up show at Chicago’s 1,100-capacity Metro back in August, as well as being tapped to open their 2025 North American headlining tour.
