Deftones continue to bring more private music to the masses. Over the weekend, at the massive Louder Than Life festival in Louisville, Kentucky, the alt-metal titans dropped into their new record’s exquisite “ecdysis” on-stage for the first time ever.
The stage debut took place a few tunes into Deftones’ Saturday night (September 20th) headlining set at Highland Festival Grounds — in fact, just after fellow private music banger “my mind is a mountain.”
The night’s 20-song set also found Deftones hitting private music’s “infinite source” and “milk of the madonna,” along with essential set inclusions like “Change (In the House of Flies)”, “My Own Summer (Shove It)”, “Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away)” and more.

Deftones wrapped up their recent round of summer arena dates, but will next be performing October 4th at Sacramento, California’s Aftershock Festival, and then they have their next Dia De Los Deftones fest coming up in November. You’ll find the rest of their upcoming dates below.
