Cradle of Filth are making a meal out of their latest single rollout. Just under a month on from serving up their profanely horny “To Live Deliciously” to streaming services, the extreme metal faction have unveiled a new, ultra-gunky and NSFW music video for the tune.
As previously reported, the song is set to appear on Cradle’s next album, The Screaming of the Valkyries, and we’d previously described it as a hedonistic banger full of depraved, “grim-thrashed riffs” and erotic screechings from Dani Filth.
Directed by Vicente Cordero, the band’s new music video ups the ante by showing us gory bedroom carnality between two religious figures.
Noting that the clip was a way to “tout a bit of blasphemous filth,” Cradle frontman Filth describes the scene as a “pleasant social engagement betwixt a pious young nun and her mentor priest. Just with a smattering of demonic possession and sexual misconduct added for good stock.”

As previously reported, The Screaming of the Valkyries is out March 21st via Napalm Records. While it is said to harken back to Cradle classics Midian and Dusk… and Her Embrace albums, it it will sadly not feature the long-anticipated collab between the U.K. black-metal vets and English pop star Ed Sheeran.
