Coming off the recent release of Return to Dust’s self-titled debut LP, the L.A. neo-grunge band have announced they’ll be taking the songs out on the road while opening for veteran alt-metal unit Chevelle.
A press release confirms that Return to Dust will kick off their summer tour with a stop at Mansfield, Ohio’s Inkcarceration festival, but quickly thereafter connect with Chevelle for a 15-date trip across the U.S. The rising rockers will be opening the show, while the direct support slot will be taken on by Tigercub.
Of the trek, Return to Dust commented: “We’re stoked to be sharing the stage with Chevelle! We can only hope to match their musical prowess one day.”
The group will likewise be heading out in the fall on Sevendust’s previously announced “Seasons 21” tour, where the nu-metal greats will be performing 2003’s Seasons in full each night. You’ll find all of Return to Dust’s tour dates down below.
Released last month, Return to Dust’s self-titled LP was produced by Jim Kaufman (Everclear, Danny Worsnop, Night Riots, Helmet) and finds the young band working through an Alice in Chains-inspired form of modern-day grunge that has gained the band several million views over TikTok.
A limited-edition variant of the LP on red-and-black-swirled “Valhalla” vinyl is available now in the Revolver shop.
