Coming off their recent “Instrument of War” charity single with Stick to Your Guns, bombastic metal force Paleface Swiss have now unveiled plans to drop a new EP. Upcoming mini-release The Wilted won’t be out ‘til next year, but the band have set off their explosive new era early by unveiling the record’s first eye-widening single, “Let Me Sleep,” and its music video.
Directed by Kriss Jacob, the clip — which begins with a trigger warning over its use of strobing lights — finds a woman taking a bus ride with her headphones on. The soundtrack is an extra intense new Paleface Swiss song, which rams through a barrage of deathcore-savage mosh sections, no-nonsense chromaticism and a supremely agitated round of screams from vocalist Marc “Zelli” Zellwegger, which apparently reflect one insomniac’s waking nightmare (“I’m wide awake… Let me sleep, please”).
“Do you know the feeling when you want to sleep but your head doesn’t allow it — maybe because you fear your dreams?” Zelli commented. “Sleep is so important to me, but sometimes my mind just won’t let me.”

The Wilted marks Paleface Swiss’ first major project since they delivered the album Cursed at the top of 2025 (though they’d also issued a Complete Edition of the breakthrough release in June). The five-song EP, which includes “Instrument of War,” is due out January 2nd. You can pre-order it on limited-edition “marbled blue” vinyl at Revolver’s shop.
Paleface Swiss will mount a headlining tour of Europe and the UK early next year, and will return to the U.S. later in 2026 for the Welcome to Rockville and Sonic Temple festivals. You’ll find their full tour schedule here.
