The Black Parade officially marches on in 2025. Following My Chemical Romance’s recent, full-album performance of their most famous album at the When We Were Young Festival in Las Vegas, Nevada, the New Jersey punk greats have announced they’ll be bringing those tunes back out on the road for a short North American tour.
MCR announced a 10-show trek today (November 12th) through an evocative, militaristic teaser trailer, which you can see up above. Their “Long Live: The Black Parade North American Tour” is confirmed to find the act celebrating their iconic 2005 album, The Black Parade, with a full-album performance each night.
The tour kicks off July 11th at Seattle, Washington’s T-Mobile Park, and will hit various points across the U.S. and Canada before capping the 20th anniversary tour at Tampa, Florida’s Raymond James Stadium on September 13th. Tickets go on sale this Friday (November 15th).
Even outside of an iconic full-album performance, the rest of the shows are set to be a spectacle. Each city will feature a different, high-profile opening act, with MCR set to share the stage with Evanescence, Pixies, Alice Cooper, Thursday, Death Cab for Cutie, IDLES, Devo, 100 Gecs, Violent Femmes, Garbage, and Wallows.
