Bay Area groove-metal gøds Machine Head are getting back on the road in 2025, having just announced a headlining North American tour with venerated guests and friends In Flames, Lacuna Coil and Unearth. In the spirit of camaraderie, all four bands have also teamed-up for a new collaborative single due later this week.
The king-sized announcement arrived through Machine Head’s socials this morning (November 12th), where Robb Flynn and co. confirmed they head off on a five-week tour next spring. The trip begins April 5th with a hometown show at Oakland, California’s Fox Theater, includes a quick pitstop at the Sick New World Festival is Las Vegas, Nevada, and caps with a four-show stretch across Western Canada.

To celebrate the impending trip, Machine Head have also revealed that a new single titled “These Scars Won’t Define Us” will be released this Friday (November 15th). It’s added that the song is a “a Wu Tang Clan-level thrash collaboration” featuring vocals from each act on the tour. The song likewise teases the next Machine Head album, which is currently untitled but is expected to drop sometime in April.
Machine Head’s last LP was 2022’s ØF KINGDØM AND CRØWN.
