METALLICA and PANTERA in Minneapolis: See epic photos

On Friday (August 16th), Metallica took their M72 World Tour to Minneapolis, Minnesota’s US Bank Stadium, playing the first show of two “no repeat” performances at the venue.

Mammoth WVH appeared in the opening slot, while the mighty Pantera played in direct support. The Texas groove-metal titans ripped through a hits-packed 11-song set, kicking off with “A New Level” and closing with “Cowboys From Hell.”

As for the headliners, they delivered 15 songs of their own, including a health dose of 72 Seasons cuts plus plenty of all-time classics, from opener “Creeping Death” to the concluding one-two-knockout-punch of “Seek & Destroy” and “Master of Puppets.”

Photographer Anthony Scanga was there to catch Metallica and Pantera in action. Check out some of his standout shows below.
