On the final date of their 2025 North American headline tour, Lorna Shore landed at The Theater at Madison Square Garden on Halloween eve, and vocalist Will Ramos pulled out all the stops with a jaw-dropping costume that had fans scratching their skulls.
The extreme-metal vocalist extraordinaire hit the stage in a Hollywood-quality skull cap and fake beard applied by SFX artist Kelly Harris, rendering him virtually unrecognizable. Who or what he dressing up as? We at Revolver HQ are betting on Meshuggah’s Jens Kidman, but other guesses include Chimaira’s Mark Hunter, Vikings’ Ragnar Lothbrok, Wooly Willy, and one of the Soggy Bottom Boys from O Brother, Where Art Thou?
What wasn’t left in doubt is that Lorna Shore crush. Topping a bill including the Black Dahlia Murder, Shadow of Intent and PeelingFlesh, the deathcore trailblazers tore through an epic 12-song set that included early fan favorites from their new album, I Feel the Everblack Festering Within Me, and was capped with an encore comprising all 20 minutes of their “Pain Remains” trilogy.
Photographer Dimitry Mak was in the house to catch all the beard-swinging action — check out some of his standout shots below.
