While it seemed like Loathe already had their fall punch-card full via their upcoming Canadian tour supporting Korn and Gojira, the UK metalcore expansionists have revealed they’re now also heading out on their very own headlining U.S. headlining tour shortly thereafter.
As previously reported, Loathe kick into an eight-show tour with Korn and Gojira by mid-September, and close out the Great North trip October 1st at Vancouver, BC’s Rogers Arena.
While it doesn’t immediately follow up the Canadian dates, on October 21st Loathe will launch their own tour at Mesa, Arizona’s Nile Theater. These dates find them supported by heavy shoegazers Trauma Ray and Bay Area hardcore crew Spy.
The 25-show stretch rips out East, but boomerangs back to the West Coast for a November 24th tour-closer at Anaheim, California’s House of Blues. Pre-sales for the headline dates are live at 10 a.m. local time today (July 22nd), while general tickets sales are up by Friday (July 25th).
Earlier this year, Loathe came back to deliver “Gifted Every Strength,” a Revolver-favorited track we said features moments of “disgustingly groovy roadhouse djenting” and vibe-heavy jazz fusion. Plans have yet to be revealed for the group’s follow-up to 2020’s Let It In and It Took Everything.
