KORN’s epic tour kickoff: See setlist and video

Last night (September 12th) Korn formally kicked off their North American tour with Gojira and Spiritbox, bringing an epic set of hits and mega deep-cuts to Tampa, Florida’s MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre.

Korn opened the night with Untouchables’ legacy-cementing “Here to Stay,” and proceeded to roll through an 18-song set that pulled from all eras. This naturally included big-time groovers like “A.D.I.D.A.S.,” “Shoots and Ladders,” “Got the Life,” and a night-closing “Freak on a Leash.”

As for the rarities, the Bakersfield quintet dialed into Issues funk-creeper “Hey Daddy” for the first time since 1999, while it had been a dozen years since “Oildale (Leave Me Alone)” was blasted onstage — this was likewise the first time guitarist Brian “Head” Welch played the Korn III single live. The band’s “Dead Bodies Everywhere” also returned to the mix, following a five-year layover.

You’ll find the full setlist details down below (via setlist.fm), while fan-shot concert clips from throughout the night can be seen up above and down below.

As for the openers, Spiritbox’s set found the Canadian-made group giving their new “Soft Spine” single its live debut, while Gojira’s set included a portion of their viral “Mea culpa (Ah! Ça ira!)”

Korn’s tour with Gojira and Spiritbox runs until the end of October, with the route including a 30th anniversary show behind Korn’s 1994 debut album, which takes place at Los Angeles’ BMO Stadium on October 5th. The night will also include performances from Vended and Scars Over Broadway.

You’ll find all of Korn’s upcoming dates over here.
