Jutes is getting out of the office this summer.
After supplying the subversively symbolistic, 9-to-5-pondering “Dissociate” video last month, the Canadian-born alt-metal expander has outlined his plan to travel North America on an upcoming tour.
The artist’s “Smile You’re On Tour” road trip was announced today (April 6th) and begins in earnest August 11th at the Van Buren in Phoenix, Arizona. The trip primarily takes place in the U.S., though he’ll kick up to his native land for a pair of shows, including a club show in Toronto, Ontario and an August 22nd slot at the Warped Tour in Montreal, Quebec.
Viral L.A. alt-rockers Wilt are on-board for all of the headline shows between August and October, while In Color and Mothica will be on select dates.
Pre-sales get underway tomorrow (April 7th) at 10 a.m. local, while the general on-sale is this Friday (April 10th). You’ll find all of Jutes upcoming North American shows, including a fall stop at the Aftershock festival, down below.
