Judas Priest are keeping their Shields up this fall, with the legendary British steel-swingers having just announced another leg of North American dates to support this year’s excellent Invincible Shield.
Though the NWOBHM icons just wrapped up a month’s worth of U.S. dates, they get back on the road by the middle of September, kicking off a 25-date stretch of shows at Montreal, Quebec’s Bell Centre on September 13th.
While the run mostly comprises headlining arena dates, Priest have also slotted in festival appearances at Louder Than Life and Aftershock. Pre-sales for the second leg of Invincible Shield dates go live tomorrow (June 12th), while general ticket sales begin on June 14th. The headlining dates will feature support from Swedish power-metal history buffs Sabaton.
Judas Priest’s spring-released Invincible Shield marked the first album of new material from the veteran metal band since 2018. A double LP set on blue vinyl, limited to 1,000 copies, is available now in the Revolver shop.
