IRON MAIDEN and THE HU in NYC: See epic photos from Future Past tour

On Saturday, November 2nd, Iron Maiden took their epic The Future Past Tour to Brooklyn’s Barclays Center for a pyrotechnic two-hour headlining performance.

Before Bruce Dickinson and Co. made their presence known, Mongolia’s the HU opened the proceedings, throat-singing their way through viral hits including “Yuve Yuve Yu” and “Wolf Totem,” and winning a notably warm reception from the famously hard-to-win-over Maiden heads in the house.

When the NWOBHM titans finally hit the stage, they opened with the one-two punch of “Caught Somewhere in Time” and “Stranger in a Strange Land,” working in other classic anthems such as “The Prisoner,” “Fear of the Dark” and “The Trooper,” as well as newer cuts like “The Time Machine” and “Hell on Earth” from the band’s most recent album, 2021’s Senjutsu. The eternally ebullient Bruce Dickinson dashed across the stage and belted skyscraping notes, while his bandmates delivered galloping heavy-metal gallantry. Eddie, of course, made his presence known, too.

Photographer The Tinfoil Biter was there to catch both bands in action — check out some of her standout shots below.
