Per Halloween tradition, California hardcore veterans Twitching Tongues have slicked down their devilocks and prepped another Misfits tribute set as Twitchfits.
The Danzig-favoring fiends’ third annual Twitchfits release features five new covers, with the act’s latest tribute EP taking it way back via a keyboard heavy “Cough/Cool.” Other all-timer horror-punk jams approached on the set include “Attitude,” “Ghouls Night Out,” “Angelfuck” and a requisite Michael Graves-era outlier, “Dig Up Her Bones.”

Better late than never, Twitchfits are staging their “Halloween III” show on November 1st in Los Angeles. They’ll be hitting a headlining Misfits cover set, while L.A. melodeath unit Upon Stone will be performing as Metallica, Cosmic Joke will be covering various cuts from the Tony Hawk soundtracks, members of Ceremony and Punch will unite for a set of Minor Threat, and the night will also feature Sixty Nine Inch Nails.
