Sludge veterans Thou want you to slurp up their new cover of Nine Inch Nails’ “Suck.”
The Louisiana filth-flingers unveiled their take on the classic Broken track — itself a reworked version of a Pigface song Trent Reznor sang before bringing it to NIN — as part of the upcoming Best of Nine Inch Nails (Redux) compilation coming out next month via Magnetic Eye Records.
Thou’s take on the tune quickly spirals into a tarpit of blistering amp feedback and low-slung sludge riffage — making it sound just as dirty on the outside as it does within the super-horny lyrics. Vocalist Bryan Funck brings a ton of uncomfortable swagger to the song, as he softly sneers or mega-howls his way through the ecstasy-driven devotional anthem.

Magnetic Eye’s Best of Nine Inch Nails (Redux) is out November 28th, and likewise features reworked NIN songs from the likes of Marisa Nadler, Blue Heron and more.
