Coming off the multi-million-streamed success of their Paper Hearts EP, rising Memphis, Tennessee-based foursome Sleep Theory have offered up a nu-rock earworm fittingly dubbed “Stuck in My Head.”
The standalone single, premiered via the video up above, continues the band’s melding of Linkin-style arena heaviness, pop-rock songcraft and vocalist Cullen Moore’s R&B-informed vocal lilting.
Thematically, the cut concerns nostalgic yearning, and how a simple song heard in familiar stomping grounds can trigger thoughts of a crumbled relationship.
“This song is incredibly special to us — it captures the essence of our journey and the emotions we’ve experienced along the way,” the band said in a joint statement, adding: “The video feels like the next step for us, showcasing our evolution both musically and visually. We can’t wait for you to experience this next chapter of Sleep Theory with us.”
