Hear SHERI MOON ZOMBIE rails against A.I. on debut single “I Love My Robot”

Sheri Moon Zombie has delivered her punky debut single, a loud-as-fuck takedown on AI anti-culture called “I Love My Robot.”

The song finds Moon Zombie — actor and wife of shock-rocker Rob Zombie — leaning into a pretty fun garage-punk slam of bright, brash power chords and cheerleader-style vocal layering. We learn in-song that Moon Zombie is no fan of AI, but she does love her floor-sweeping Roomba (especially when it goes a-Zoom-a).

The rebuke continues to suggest that the artist will be scribing her songs sans the assistance of ChatGPT, and she likewise doesn’t cotton to algorithms serving up viewing suggestions.

A video finds Moon Zombie bashing out the track with a band full of retro sci-fi robots — a set of gloriously clunky musical automtatons seemingly stemming from the family lines of Forbidden Planet’s Robby the Robot and the world-famous Robot on the Toilet.

Cheer Sheri Moon Zombie on by giving her “I Love My Robot” video, which was directed by Rob Zombie, a stream up above.

The new song is also on streamers, and is set to appear as the A-side of an upcoming 7-inch picture disc release through Nuclear Blast records, which will house Rob Zombie’s recent The Great Satan song “Sir Lord Acid Wolfman” on the flip. Physicals can be pre-ordered here.
