Just a few weeks out from the release of Linkin Park’s upcoming reunion album, the nu-metal favorites have returned with another sneak preview. This time around, the band are crashing into an emotional rocker called “Over Each Other”
The new single, which follows “The Emptiness Machine” and “Heavy Is the Crown,” plays out as a vocal showcase for Linkin’s new singer, Emily Armstrong. While there might be a few backups in the mix, Armstrong’s raspy vibrato gets pushed to the forefront above some distorted but melancholy guitar work.
The new music video is delivered in medias res following a car crash, with the rest of the video tracing Armstrong and someone else having arguments in a bathroom and later while riding around in their vehicle. And then tragedy strikes. Without spoiling too much, there’s a Shyamalan-like twist involved. You can see for yourself up above.
As previously reported, Linkin Park’s upcoming FROM ZERO album is out November 15th via Warner Records. Beyond that, it was also recently revealed that the reunited group will be headlining sets in 2025 at the Sick New World and Sonic Temple music festivals.
