Hear LINKIN PARK’s bouncy bonus cut “Let You Fade”

Today (May 16th) marks the release of Linkin Park’s new deluxe version of their comeback LP, FROM ZERO. After teasing the expanded set earlier this spring with bonus tracks “Unshatter” and “Up From the Bottom,” they’ve now unveiled the collection’s bounce-heavy new finale, “Let You Fade.”

A press release explains that the track is the third and final new tune to be delivered from the deluxe set, and it further dials into the developing dynamic between founding singer-guitarist Mike Shinoda and new co-vocalist Emily Armstrong. Above a dreamy, but gum-soled nu-rock groove, they flex a mix of melodic vocals and inspirational raps.

“‘Let You Fade’ is a favorite among the band members and our friends,” Armstrong said in a statement. “It’s got a deep emotional side but still a ton of energy, and we can’t wait to add it to the setlist for the summer.”

As previously reported, the expanded FROM ZERO is out via Warner Records. Deluxe LP and Deluxe CD editions are available now in Revolver’s shop.

Linkin Park’s world tour continues tomorrow (May 17th) with a headlining appearance at Daytona, Florida’s Welcome to Rockville festival. The band then head out to Europe in June for a handful of dates before returning to North American arenas in August.

You’ll find the details on their tour schedule over here.

Shinoda, Armstrong and bassist Dave Farrell likewise caught up with Alternative Press to discuss life since FROM ZERO first landed. You can read the new cover story from our sister publication over here.
