Hear LAMB OF GOD’s “Omerta” remixed by GODFLESH’s JUSTIN K BROADRICK

Lamb of God just released Ashes of the Wake (20th Anniversary Edition) featuring new mixes of classic tracks like “Laid to Rest” by HEALTH, along with an enhanced version of “Another Nail for Your Coffin” with guest vocals from Malevolence‘s Alex Taylor and Kublai Khan TX’s Matt Honeycutt. The deluxe reissue also includes an industrialized remix of “Omerta” by Godflesh mastermind Justin K Broadrick — hear it above for the first now via its official lyric video.

“Since the release of Godflesh’s landmark 1989 debut album, Streetcleaner, I’ve been a fan of the beautifully abrasive sounds Justin Broadrick has unleased,” LOG frontman Randy Blythe commented. “To have this groundbreaking artist remix my personal favorite song from Ashes of the Wake is beyond wild to me.”

Next up for Lamb of God, the NWOAHM titans will wrap up the “Ashes of the Leviathan” tour this weekend, with the co-headlining trek with Mastodon hitting Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre and Omaha’s Astro Amphitheater before concluding with a Sunday outing at Rocklahoma. LOG have two additional dates on their 2024 schedule: Riot Fest on September 22nd, and the band’s second annual Headbanger Boat cruise, from October 28th to November 1st with guests including Chimaira, Poison the Well, Carcass, Soulfly, Exodus, Napalm Death, Corrosion of Conformity and more.
