The moment has arrived: In This Moment have delivered their first song of 2026, “Sleeping with the Enemy,” and the band’s latest track arrives in conjunction with the announcement that they’ll be headlining the first Taste of Chaos tour in a decade.
The new song follows last year’s “Heretic” team-up with Kim Dracula, and In This Moment vocalist Maria Brink says that “Sleeping with the Enemy” — not to mention their currently untitled next album — is about “confronting the darkness — whether it’s inside us or external.”
She explains in a statement: “It’s about looking that darkness in the face and transforming it into empowerment. We feel so exhilarated and ready to show the world what we’ve conjured up.”

Though the full details on In This Moment’s follow-up to 2023’s GODMODE have yet to arrive, it’s confirmed in a press release that it’ll feature both “Sleeping with the Enemy” and “Heretic.” The release will also be their first album through Better Noise Music.
In This Moment will get the chance to play both tracks during the upcoming Taste of Chaos tour, which will be the traveling fest’s first loop around the U.S. since 2016. They co-headline the fall tour with Hollywood Undead, while the bill is rounded out by I See Stars, Vana and Melrose Avenue.
