HATEBREED announce first album in 6 years with ferocious song “Kill Count Increase”

Hatebreed are coming in for the kill with a brand-new beatdown. As if you’d expect anything less.

Today (July 21st), the Connecticut-made hardcore legends issued a new single called “Kill Count Increase,” a detuned and dominant display of d-beating intensity that previews their forthcoming ninth album, Fatal Paradox.

The song delivers a fuselage of furious hardcore beats and violent vibrato accents, while vocalist Jamey Jasta leans into his patented p.o.’d bark.

“‘Kill Count Increase’ is the lead track on Fatal Paradox and a perfect way of summing up our first album in six years from the start,” Jasta says in a statement. “It’s straightforward, in-your-face Hatebreed. Fast. Hard. It gets down to business and comes up for air two-and-a-half minutes later. The room and everyone in it gets wrecked and comes back wanting more.”

Indeed, we suggest you let them wreck you by streaming their song via the player up above.

The new album is Hatebreed’s first album in six years, and follows 2020’s Weight of the False Self. The upcoming, 11-song outing found the band working alongside producer and longtime collaborator Zeuss, and they also brought aboard legendary Obituary vocalist John Tardy to growl on its “Sacrifice Season.”

Fatal Paradox will be released in full November 6th via their new label home, BLKIIBLK. That said, the collection is already up for pre-order, and you can snag yourself an exclusive “White & Black Marble” vinyl edition (limited to 500 copies) in Revolver’s shop.

As previously reported, Hatebreed are headlining the 2026 edition of Summer Slaughter, which began earlier this month. The traveling heavy music tour hits Sauget, Illinois’ Pop’s Nightclub tonight (July 21st), and the show also features Incantation, Snuffed on Sight and Face Yourself. Hatebreed then cross over to Europe before starting a second leg of Summer Slaughter North American dates with Terror, Gates to Hell and more. They also have a few upcoming fest appearances and shows with Slayer and Turnstile.

You’ll find the full breakdown on those North American appearances down below.
