God’s Hate are back, and they Won’t Be Disgraced.
After performing a surprise set over the weekend at the Sound and Fury festival in Los Angeles, California — this ending a year-long hiatus — the hardcore veterans — fronted by AEW wrestler Brody King — have now delivered a three-song EP that pays tribute to late Harm’s Way guitarist Bo Lueders and features guest vocals from members of Earth Crisis, Youth of Today and Floorpunch.
The three-song Won’t Be Disgraced features God’s Hate originals “Won’t Be Disgraced” and “I Am The Cure,” and likewise features a cover Harm’s Way‘s “Warriors Will Reign.” The latter had been delivered on Harm’s Way’s 2009 album, Reality Approaches, and has now been recast with God’s Hate vocalist King on the mic, along with Harm’s Way’s James Pligge, Earth Crisis’ Karl Buechner, Youth of Today’s Ray Cappo and Floorpunch’s Mark Porter.
God’s Hate features members of Twitching Tongues, Terror and more — including drummer Colin Young, who co-hosted the HardLore Podcast with Lueders up until the latter’s death earlier this year.
The band’s Sound and Fury performance last Sunday afternoon (August 16th) took place at L.A.’s Exposition Park, following Twitching Tongues’ set. This was God’s Hate’s first show since the 2025 edition of Sound and Fury.
