A new Limp Bizkit single has seemingly leaked through an unlikely channel — or, rather, through Instagram drum influencer Kristina Rybalchenko‘s latest post.
The full details are a little foggy, but Rybalchenko hit the kit for a post this morning (September 4th), in which she leaned into a ghost-noting, head-bobbing groove, which plays beneath a very Bizkit-esque arrangement.
As you can hear through the post below — captioned by the drummer as “When you leak a new @limpbizkit song and get busted by @freddurst 😱” — the as-yet-undetailed track begins with bright bass tones and squelching synths, and then ramps up towards a nu-chunked chorus. Fred Durst raps of gripping his mic like a waffle cone and letting his balls drop like a Christmas wreath. The chorus features a swaggy maxim: “When you’re hot, you’re hot / When you’re not, you’re not.”
In other words, this all seems like it’s a legit Limp Bizkit track.
Proving the point further, Nu-daddy Durst shows up at the end of the video to scold Rybalchenko for leaking the track: “That’s our new song, it’s not out yet!”
While nothing has been explained beyond this, we’ve known Limp Bizkit have been prepping new music for a while. Last October, the band started posting Instagram stories of themselves in the studio, and suggested we brace ourselves for “that funky funky.”
Limp Bizkit’s last album was 2021’s Still Sucks.
