Wake up, babe, new Dream Theater tour dates just dropped.
Indeed, a few months on from the release of the prog-metal legends’ Parasomnia album — their first with drummer Mike Portnoy since 2009 — the band have now unveiled the first official leg of their “Parasomnia 2025” tour, and it takes off from the U.S. this September.
While Dream Theater had been taking their 40th anniversary celebrations on the road this year, the upcoming late summer dates mark a transition by properly celebrating the band’s sixteenth studio full-length. The trek begins September 5th at Reading, Pennsylvania’s Santander PAC, and the 30-show stretch will conclude October 25th at Long Island, New York’s Nassau Coliseum.
Interestingly, there are two dates set at Atlanta, Georgia’s Coca-Cola Roxy venue — the September 13th show is part of the Parasomnia promotional tour, while the following night is a make-up date from a postponed 40th anniversary show.
