On Saturday (November 1st), Deftones held their sixth annual Dia De Los Deftones, again at San Diego, California’s Petco Park.
As always, Deftones handpicked the 2025 lineup, which was characteristically diverse, embracing everyone from “coke rap” duo Clipse and blackgaze trailblazers Deafheaven to regional Mexican singer-songwriter Régulo Caro and genre-blending rising star Ecca Vandal.
While the performers were bringing fireworks to the two stages, “All Souls” and “Calaveras,” fans brought their own color to the event, many showing up in elaborate La Catrina makeup in honor of Día de los Muertos, the Day of the Dead.
