You feel that rumble? Aftershock Festival have just announced they’re once again staging the west coast’s biggest rock, punk and metal at Discovery Park in Sacramento, California. And the line-up has got some major heavy-hitters, including Deftones, Bring Me the Horizon, Korn, and blink-182.
This year’s festivities are set to take place October 2nd-5th. While last year’s edition featured a five-stage set-up, Aftershock 2025 will host more than 115 bands across four stages.
It all begins October 2nd, with the mainstage featuring pop-punks blink-182, as well as All Time Low and Taking Back Sunday. They day also features Good Charlotte, Hollywood Undead and All-Time Rejects, though on the heavier side of things, Power Trip, Carcass, reunited sludgesters Acid Bath, Speed, Hatebreed, High on Fire, Cattle Decapitation are just some of the other acts set to appeart.
Likewise, there’s an S.O.D.-saluting set from founders Scott Ian and Danny Lilker, as well as Hatebreed’s Jamey Jasta and Ian’s son Revel.
Deftones top the bill on October 3rd, but the mainstage also features Turnstile, Knocked Loose, Dillinger Escape Plan, Failure, rising nu-gazers Glare and more. Elsewhere, you’ve got sets from A Perfect Circle, Bruce Dickinson. Lamb of God, Kerry King, Dream Theater, Exodus, Testament, Lacuna Coil, Fear Factory and more.
The Saturday night mainstage is manned by Korn, Gojira, Chevelle, Slaughter to Prevail and more. The other stages feature Bad Omens, Three Days Grace, the reunited Dayseeker, Powerwolf, Dragonforce, Dying Fetus, Born of Osiris, Sunami, Trash Talk, Imminence, Scowl, Dying Wish and more.
The final night of Aftershock will be headlined by UK post-hardcore vets Bring Me the Horizon, though the main stage also has Marilyn Manson, Motionless in White, Black Veil Brides, Sleep Theory and more.
