Deftones kicked off their 2025 North American headlining tour a couple of weeks ago, and it seems like their run of sold out arena dates have been pretty stellar so far. With that in mind, the alt-metal veterans are prepared to keep the party going this year, as they’ve just announced a second leg of dates that are set to take place this summer.
The newly-added tour dates begin August 22nd at Vancouver, BC’s Rogers Arena, with the 14-show leg heading through a handful of other Canadian venues before dipping down into the U.S. A tour-closer takes place at Kansas City, Missouri’s T-Mobile Center on September 17th. The summer dates likewise dovetail around Deftones’ two shows with System of a Down in Toronto, Ontario.
Deftones will be supported on these latest headlining dates by hardcore experimentalists the Barbarians of California. Electronic rock outfit Phantogram will be on the trip for the first eight shows, while UK post-punks IDLES (who had last opened for Deftones at the 2024 edition of the Dia De Los Deftones festival) will be supporting on the final six shows.
Pre-sales begin for select dates tomorrow (March 13th) and run until Sunday (March 16th), while general on-sales are up by Monday (March 17th). You’ll find more info on ticketing over here.
In the meantime, Deftones are still on the road with the Mars Volta and Fleshwater, with the tour resuming tonight (March 12th) at Austin, Texas’ Moody Center.
