Rising deathcore beasts Rev3rent have unleashed another gore-forward explosion of sound, with their second blasted-and-bree’d single of 2026 being the title cut to their newly-announced debut album, She Let the World Run Rampant.
The California sextet get down to business quick, fully pummeling speakers with manic bursts of drums, soul-slicing riffs and beyond-the-brink vocal extremism from teenage vocalist Josh Bailey Guard. The song also swerves through heavy breakdowns and brings out a few earth-rattling sub drops before twisting itself into a chaotic finale.
That brutal performance is re-enacted by Rev3rent in a rooftop-set video, which was directed by Derek Rathbun. Beyond the band stuff — including some super crabcore-inspired lunging — the short film gets extra gunky while presenting an extreme artist painting canvasses with the blood of a couple he just kidnapped.
It’s now confirmed that both “She Let the World Run Rampant” and this spring’s “Last One Here” single are a part of the upcoming debut album, which follows the group’s Decimate EP from 2025.
The album was made alongside Grammy-nominated producer Drew Fulk (Knocked Loose, Motionless in White), and is explained to contain thirteen songs “exploring loss, heartbreak and the dark feelings that lurk deep inside.” As with some of the band’s earliest material, this includes suicidal thoughts.
“I want to be able to help people with the music, not just play for them,” Guard adds in a statement, “[to] help people have fun and get out of their heads. Because the world sucks right now, and music is a good way to get out of that.”
She Let the World Run Rampant is out October 30th via Deep Love Records. You can pre-order and pre-save the album here.
As previously reported, Rev3rent are gearing up for a series of North American dates supporting deathcore heavyweights Slaughter to Prevail. You’ll find the date details beneath the new album’s artwork and tracklisting.
