DANZIG announces dates for West Coast tour with DOWN

This is not a drill. Danzig is bringing his signature darkness along the West Coast next year for a run of live dates that will find the veteran heavy music crooner sharing the stage with Down, Abbath and Cro-Mags.

Danzig’s socials first confirmed the trip last week, wherein it was noted in an Instagram post that he and his band “will do a string of Rare Live Dates on the West Coast” in late March, hitting cities that Danzig “has not played in many years.”

It was added at the time that all dates would feature opening slots from sludge gods Down, Norwegian black-metal greats Abbath and NYHC titans Cro-Mags, though the city, venue and date specifics were kept under wraps.

As of today (December 11th), Danzig officially revealed the tour route, which begins March 21st at Las Vegas, Nevada’s Virgin Theater venue. The six-show trip zooms up North as far as Seattle, Washington before jetting back down for a closing date at Phoenix, Arizona’s Arizona Financial Theatre on March 30th.

Danzig’s latest Instagram post added that “no other shows are planned for 2025.” Tickets for the West Coast dates will go on sale later this week.

Danzig’s last solo tour took place in the fall of 2023, with he and his band then celebrating the 35th anniversary of his self-titled solo debut by playing the album in full each night. His last solo album, meanwhile, was 2017’s Black Laden Crown.
