Creed were determined to take their faithful higher last night (July 17th) when the reunited post-grunge favorites officially kicked off their “Summer of ‘99” tour at Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin’s Resch Center with a 16-song mega-set.
Coming off their handful of spring concerts and TV appearances, Scott Stapp and Co. brought the heat with a number of hits across their hefty catalogue.
They kicked the night off with Weathered opener “Bullets,” and continued with a mix of metal-chunked bruisers and uplifting rock ballads — including “Higher,” “My Own Prison,” “With Arms Wide Open” and more.
The pyro-heavy show concluded with an encore of Weathered’s “One Last Breath” and “My Sacrifice.
You can see fan-shot footage from the night up above and down below, where you’ll likewise catch the full setlist.
As previously reported, Creed played their first show in 12 years this past April, during the “Summer of ’99” cruise. As for now, the band’s nostalgic concert schedule, which comprises both the “Summer of ’99” and “Are You Ready?” tour legs, runs until December, and finds Creed touring alongside 3 Doors Down, Mammoth WVH, Daughtry, Finger Eleven and more. You’ll find the full details here.
Likewise, Scott Stapp told Revolver his life story for our Summer Issue, which you can order here.
