You smell that in the air? The curious reek of…putrefaction? Turns out that can be pinned on Carcass, for the iconic extreme metal progenitors have just announced their “North American Putrefaction 2025” tour, and they’ll be bringing along fetid metal friends including Brujeria, Necrot, SpiritWorld and more.
The tour was announced this morning (July 8th) with Carcass writing over socials that they are “morbidly ectstatic” to be launching their “disgusting voyage.” All told, Carcass have 14 headline dates on the books for the late summer/early fall tour, which begins September 16th at Birmingham, Alabama’s Workplay venue.
The trip sees Carcass joined by extreme grind vets Brujeria throughout, while Necrot, Hedonist and death-western thrashers SpiritWorld will be on several dates, too.
An October 1st stop at Los Angeles, California’s Wiltern venue also features sets from Nails and Mongrel, and Carcass technically cap their North American run with a pit stop the following day at Sacramento, California’s Aftershock festival.
