BIOHAZARD announce first album in 13 years with ruthless new song “F**k the System”

After announcing their “Divided We Fall” tour dates with Onyx earlier this summer, New York hardcore lifers Biohazard have now confirmed that their long-awaited next LP will also be titled Divided We Fall. The reunited classic lineup drop the hammer this fall, though they’re giving us an early feel for the LP with a new heavy single called “F**k the System.”

The song follows Biohazard’s recent “Forsaken” single. Its intro leans into a swell of ominously metallic guitar harmonies and samples of someone talking of unity and togetherness. Biohazard ramp up the speed, while bassist-vocalist Evan Seinfeld and guitarist-vocalist Billy Graziadei fume over divisive politics and the people at the top that that are pitting folks against each other (“We disagree about human rights/No discussion there’s only a fight”). They call it a “war cry about the state of the world with no sugarcoated bullshit.”

“‘F**k the System’ is Biohazard calling it like it is,” the band reports in a joint statement. “The powers that be have us at odds and beefin’ with each other while they sit back and cash in. It’s no accident the world’s burnin’ in front of our eyes. It’s all divide and control – while they keep us divided by politics, class, race, all of it, and have us out here fighting each other, they’re pulling the strings.”

You’ll find Biohazard sticking it to the system via the performance-style music video up above.

Divided We Fall was produced, mixed, and mastered by Matt Hyde (Slayer, Hatebreed, Deftones), and recorded between Long Branch, New Jersey’s Shorefire Recording Studios and Van Nuys, California’s The Hydeaway(Van Nuys, CA). The album is Graziadei and Seinfeld’s first full-length with guitarist Bobby Hambel and drummer Danny Schuler since 2012’s Reborn in Defiance.

“We are really excited to finally have the classic Biohazard lineup back together in the studio. This album has been a long time coming, and the record is straight from our hearts — we can’t wait for everybody to hear it, and to head out and play these new songs live. See you out there!”

The album is out October 17th via BLKIIBLK, though an exclusive vinyl variant on white/black corona wax can be pre-ordered now in Revolver’s shop.

As for Biohazard’s upcoming “Divided We Fall” tour, that 23-show trip launches October 3rd at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania’s Preserving venue, and finds the band joined by rap veterans Onyx, New Jersey hardcore act Bayway and masked nu-metal experimenters Swollen Teeth.
