Following BABYMETAL’s recent North American tour announcement, the beloved Japanese trio have now revealed they have a new album on the way this June. Better yet, their forthcoming Metal Forth will feature guest spots from the likes of Poppy, Spiritbox, Tom Morello and more.
The newly-announced LP will be BABYMETAL’s first album through Capitol Records, and it will be their fifth overall. The record, which receives its global release on June 13th, will include last year’s collaborative “RATATATA” single with German outfit Electric Callboy, which was apparently just the tip of the iceberg for the star-studded collection.
Metal Forth begins with a BABYMETAL/Poppy crossover called “from me to u,” and it also features team-ups with metalcore group Slaughter to Prevail, Polyphia, Spiritbox, Rage Against the Machine’s Tom Morello, and a new and second collaborative track with upcoming tourmates Bloodywood.
It’s explained in a press release that the collabs comprise groups and artists BABYMETAL “connected with over the years while touring the globe.”

It’s added that the group, who are celebrating their 15th year together in 2025, will be celebrating their annual, lore-building “Fox Day” (April 1) by releasing a “Legend Map,” which is further described as “a sign from the god of metal, the FOX GOD.” While details have yet to arrive in full, the map is expected to unveil BABYMETAL’s plans for the rest of 2025.
As previously reported, BABYMETAL launch their North American tour with Black Veil Brides, Jinjer and Bloodywood s June 13th at Houston, Texas’ 713 Music Hall. The trip concludes a few weeks later at Phoenix, Arizona’s Arizona Financial Theatre.
