Sessanta season is back again.
A Perfect Circle, Puscifer and Primus got back into the mega-collaborative spirit last night (April 24th) when they launched the Maynard James Keenan-celebrating Sessanta V2.0 tour at Palm Springs, California’s Acrisure Arena. Like last year’s tour, the night rotated between mini-sets from all three acts, but likewise sported several moments of collaborative crossover.
A Perfect Circle kicked things off with Thirteenth Step’s “The Package,” though the night also saw them hit tracks like “Judith” and “The Outsider.” Puscifer’s Carina Round hopped on-stage to help with “The Contrarian,” while Primus’ new drummer, John Hoffman, slapped the skins on “The Doomed.”
Primus freaked the funk for classic tracks including “Groundhog’s Day,” “Jerry Was a Racecar Driver” and “My Name is Mud,” but they also premiered a new tune called “Little Lord Fentanyl,” with the live debut featuring background vocals from Keenan and Round.
Puscifer gave last year’s socials-decrying “The Algorithm” its first-ever in-concert performance, in addition to a number of other tracks.
And then for the end, as with other Sessanta performances, all three bands joined-up on-stage to deliver a king-sized, collaborative version of Puscifer’s “Grand Canyon.” Keenan also mentioned just ahead of that song that Puscifer will be putting out a new album this fall.

The Sessanta V2.0 package tour resumes tonight (April 25th) at Las Vegas, Nevada’s PH Live at Planet Hollywood, and keeps rolling through the U.S. until the middle of June.
