Acid Bath played their first show in nearly three decades last night at The Fillmore in New Orleans, and disbelieving fans — including one Randy Blythe of Lamb of God — reverently soaked in every word and note. Led by lead singer Dax Riggs and guitarist-vocalist Sammy Duet (also of Goatwhore), the Louisiana sludge-metal surrealists bled an ocean and sang paegan love songs across a hauntingly magnificent 10-song set.
“[Acid Bath has] always been there in the shadows, and it [finally] found a way out,” Riggs told Revolver of the reunion back in January.
