A DAY TO REMEMBER surprise-release new ‘Big Ole Album,’ debut 2 songs

While this was technically preceded by a handful of digital single releases in 2024, Floridian rock-punk veterans A Day to Remember surprised fans this morning (February 18th) by sneak-releasing a full-length to your local record store. Billed as A Day To Remember’s Big Ole Album Vol. 1, vinyl and CD copies of the group’s eighth longplayer are out in the wild as of right now.

A press release notes that the Big Ole Album will arrive on streamers in full on March 21st, but to celebrate today’s announcement, the band have also put new tunes “Make It Make Sense” and “LeBron” into the digital ether.

“Make It Make Sense” plays to ADTR’s hardcore influences, bringing out a round of chromatically chunky riffs, lots of screaming and an oddly unsatiated refrain (“Glass half full, but it’s never enough / Make it make sense”).

“LeBron,” meanwhile, goes hard in the paint as a more pop-punk flavored piece. Apparently written as a way to “dunk on haters and naysayers,” the tune matches arena-sized melody with ball-is-life metaphors that reference the titularly-tributed King James. You’ll find a player for both tracks down below.

ADTR singer Jeremy McKinnon co-produced A Day To Remember’s Big Ole Album Vol. 1 with Drew Fulk/WZRD BLD (Knocked Loose, Lil Wayne, Lil Peep) and Zakk Cervini (blink-182, Bring Me The Horizon, Poppy). The record also features collaborations with Wage War’s Cody Quistad, Fit for an Autopsy/Better Lovers member and all-star producer Will Putney, and Colin Brittain (Linkin Park).

In addition to the new tunes, the 12-song A Day To Remember’s Big Ole Album Vol. 1 features last year’s “Feedback” and “Miracle” singles. The album is out via Fueled By Ramen/Atlantic Music Group, and physical copies are also available in Revolver’s shop over here.

A Day to Remember likewise have a handful of Australian and European fest appearances on the books throughout 2025. You’ll find that date info here.
