It’s official: the Vans Warped Tour is back. Following reports earlier this year that the iconic punk fest was relaunching in 2025, organizers have now confirmed that the multi-band extravaganza will be making its comeback next summer to celebrate its 30th anniversary.
While next year’s shows mark the first Warped dates since 2019, things’ll be a little different. Rather than relaunch as a full-blown North American tour, it’ll be held in three cities: Washington D.C’s Festival Grounds at RFK Campus on June 14-15; Long Beach, CA’s Shoreline Waterfront on July 26-27; and Orlando, FL’s Camping World Stadium Campus on November 15-16. Of the decision to limit next year’s relaunch to three cities, festival founder Kevin Lyman told Rolling Stone, “My body won’t take riding around on a tour bus for 40 cities,” but added, “If it works, we’ll look to the future to do more.”
While the lineups have yet to be revealed, Lyman noted that each city will host 70-100 bands, which will inlcude a mix of new artists and veterans from lineups past. “We’re getting very, very selective in trying to find some unique twists to the lineup,” he said.
Warped Tour organizers are planning to roll out lineup additions weekly, and they’re also bringing back the inflatable daily set list on site at each show. Stay tuned for more details.
