THE PRETTY WILD announce debut LP with frantic song “PARADOX”

Following a few feverishly-received singles, Vegas-based sister duo The Pretty Wild have now announced the details behind their first full-length release, zero.point.genesis. Better yet, they’ve done so by unveiling a genre-obliterating single called “PARADOX” that’s absolutely befitting of the band’s moniker.

The new tune is the band’s fourth original single of 2025, and follows viral smashes like “Button Eyes”. As some of their recent work, “PARADOX” presents plenty of cross-pollination, with the tune finding the group’s Jyl and Jules bouncing from melodic croons, to hyper-aggro screams to highly-caffeinated, triplet-spat rap bars. Beneath all that, you’ve got an assemblage of meaty nu-grooves, Nightmare Before Christmas-sy music box melancholy and more.

You can sample the madness via the music video up above.

As for zero.point.genesis, the record follows multiple millions of single streams on Spotify and YouTube, as well as the duo’s recent run of dates supporting In This Moment. It also features a collab with Magnolia Park (“AFTERLIFE”).

Jyl described the release as “an album of collapse and resurrection — mythic, yet memeable in its rawness.”

“For me, it’s about battling and ultimately healing the fake ego structures forged in trauma that kept me small, erasing my feminine gifts to fall in line,” she continued in a statement. “It’s crawling through the haunted shadow void society is too afraid to face, and emerging closer to my core essence through reclamation of those feminine gifts.”

“This record is layered with multiple dimensions of interpretation; the more you listen, the further you traverse through them with us,” Jules added. “We pushed into concepts that once felt untouchable to us, we set external input aside, and wrote them anyway. It’s an album of poetic contrasts, brutally heavy moments, with haunting instrumentation and flayed open lyrics.”

zero.point.genesis is out November 21st via Sumerian Records, but an exclusive pre-order on “Black Ice Cloudy with Baby Blue Splatter” vinyl (limited to 100 copies) is already up for pre-order in Revolver’s shop. The vinyl release features bonus cut “sLeepwLKeR”

Additionally, the Pretty Wild are due to hit the road alongside Set It Off, Fame On Fire and VANA by the end of October. You’ll find the date breakdown on their fall trip down below.

An exclusive look into the rise of the Pretty Wild is also in Revolver’s new Fall 2025 issue. You can order a copy here.
