Callous Daoboys officially open the doors of their self-described “museum of failure” this Friday (May 16th) when they release their I Don’t Want to See You in Heaven album. The extreme fusionists are also primed to turn their latest set of songs into a traveling exhibit, as they’ve just announced their first headlining tour of North America.
A press release explains that the Georgia-made outfit’s “Heaven Across North America Tour” begins September 12th at Pompano Beach, Florida’s Grimz venue, with the 25-date rotating through the U.S. until an October 12th hometown tour closer at the Masquerade in Atlanta.
The Callous Daoboys will likewise be taking on the trip alongside a trio of support acts: metalcore mashers UNITYTX, melodeath-informed South Carolina crew Your Spirit Dies and Crush++.
Tickets go up for sale this Friday at 10 a.m. local time. You’ll find the full itinerary down below, while more ticketing info can be found here.
As previously reported, the Callous Daoboys’ I Don’t Want to See You in Heaven sees release May 16th via MNRK Heavy. The group had run the gamut from metalcore to jazz fusion to pop with pre-release singles “Lemon,” “Two-Headed Trout,” “The Demon of Unreality Limping Like a Dog,” and “Distracted by the Mona Lisa.”
Revolver’s exclusive, limited edition of the group’s new double LP on “neon coral, black and white” has since sold out, but another pair of colored vinyl options are up for pre-order right now in out shop.
