Sound and Fury: The Sights, Sing-Alongs and Pile-Ons of 2018 Hardcore Fest

Friday (July 13th) and Saturday (July 14th) marked the return of the annual SoCal hardcore gala Sound and Fury, featuring a bevy of artists from within the scene. Though the overall modus operandi of the event is to lean toward new bands, the festival was marked by mainstay favorites such as Ceremony, Iron Age, Cold World, Rotting Out, a reunited War Hungry, Backtrack and more. Raucous sets from Mil-Spec, Candy, Fury, Freedom and more were highlights of the two day fest, as were after-parties that featured Iron Age, Destruction Unit, Blazing Eye and more. Sound and Fury also featured a special wrestling event as part of its programming, as well, taking place on the following day, July 15th. Scroll down for photos from the festival and the melee that ensued.
