Coming off last week’s announcement of Sleep Theory’s much-anticipated debut album, Afterglow, the Memphis, Tennessee, nu-rock unit have unveiled plans to head off on their first-ever headlining tour this spring.
News of the band’s upcoming North American trek arrived earlier today (February 11th), with Sleep Theory confirming that they kick off a club tour just after they hit Daytona, Florida’s Welcome to Rockville fest on May 17th. The first headlining date takes place May 20th at Birmingham, Alabama’s Workplay venue.
The tour hist both coasts, and runs from late May until late June. Sleep Theory will be supported throughout by openers Nevertel, Oxymorrons and Stray View.

As previously reported, Sleep Theory’s forthcoming Afterglow was produced by David Cowell and mixed by Zakk Cervini (Bring Me the Horizon, Bad Omens, Architects).
In addition to recently premiered rocker “Static,” the record includes other recent Sleep Theory singles “Stuck in My Head” and “Paralyzed,” and likewise features re-recorded versions of “Fallout” and “Numb,” which had both appeared on the band’s breakthrough 2023 EP, Paper Hearts.
Afterglow sees release May 16th via Epitaph Records. An exclusive variant on yellow and purple swirl vinyl, limited to 300 copies, is up for pre-order right now in Revolver’s shop.
